Harley-Davidson opens their first dealership in Manchester of South India – Coimbatore


Harley-Davidson India inaugurated its first dealership in Coimbatore, also known as the Manchester of South India. Christened as Western Ghats Harley-Davidson, the dealership is located at 1018, Avinashi Road, Coimbatore and enthusiasts can drop by to schedule a test ride or see the latest riding gear, and motorcycle parts and accessories. It will offer 13 motorcycles models by Harley-Davidson, including the recently launched Sportster 1200 Custom.

To mark the occasion, 50 existing Harley owners from the city, along with the Managing Director of Harley-Davidson India, Vikram Pawah and Dealer Principal, Western Ghats Harley-Davidson, Anandakrishnan will undertake the Founders’ ride on the morning of Saturday, March 12. The Founders’ ride is scheduled to start from the dealership and make its way through the streets of the city.

Speaking on the occasion, the Managing Director of Harley-Davidson India, Vikram Pawah said that they were excited to bring the Harley Davidson marquee to Coimbatore and looked forward to introducing the Haley way of life in the city.

“Coimbatore has witnessed rapid growth due to industrialization in last couple of years and was ranked among top emerging cities in India. We are delighted to open our doors to the wide motorcyclist base in Coimbatore and neighboring cities. For those who wish to experience the dynamic culture of motorcycling,The Western Ghats Harley Davidson will serve as a perfect destination,” said Anandakrishnan, Dealer Principal, Western Ghats Harley-Davidson.
