Water day celebrated


World Water Day was celebrated by the Boluvampatti Forest Range of the Tamil Nadu Forest Department, Sri Shakthi Socio Eco Club, and Nature Conservation Society (NCS), Coimbatore, on Monday.

Range Officer for Boluvampatti Range C. Dinesh Kumar said that there was a need to nurture trees inside and outside the forest to sustain the environment.

He spoke on the efforts taken by the department to provide drinking water for wild animals in the forest.

Regional Passport Officer S. Sasikumar, and president of NCS, Coimbatore, N.I. Jalaluddin spoke.
