Kerala lottery sale banned - One arrested in Thudiyalur, Coimbatore

The Thudiyalur police arrested Krishnamurthy, who was selling Kerala lottery tickets banned by the Tamil Nadu government, from Appanaickenpalayam area under Thudiyalur police limits in Coimbatore. Lottery tickets kept for sale were seized from him.


Coimbatore: The Thudiyalur police received a tip-off that some people were selling Kerala lottery tickets banned by the Tamil Nadu government in areas under Thudiyalur police limits in Coimbatore.

On the orders of the District Superintendent of Police, Thudiyalur police station inspector Rathinakumar and police personnel conducted a raid.

Krishnamurthy, a native of Thudiyalur, was arrested and lodged in Coimbatore central jail while he was selling Kerala lottery tickets banned by the Tamil Nadu government in Appanaickenpalayam area.

Lottery tickets kept for sale were also seized from him.
