30 sovereigns of jewellery looted from house near Palladam - The police are investigating intensively

With the help of a sniffer dog, the police are looking for unknown persons who broke the door of Rajendra Prasad's house in Allapuram area near Palladam and looted 30 svereigns jewellery from the cupboard.


Tirupur: In a shocking incident, criminals broke open the door of a locked house near Palladam and looted 30 sovereigns jewellery.

Rajendra Prasad (64), a resident of Royal Park, is next to Palladam on the road leading to Allapuram in Karaipudur panchayat.

He lived with his wife Varalakshmi (63). His son Balavijay lives in Denmark and his daughter Nivetha lives in Bengaluru.

He lived alone with his wife, locked his house and went to Musiri yesterday morning (10/04/2023) to attend a family function and they went in the car.



When He returned home this morning after the ceremony, he was shocked to find the door of the house broken open.



When they went inside, they found that the cupboard had been broken and 30 sovereigns of jewellery had been stolen from it.

Following this, the Palladam crime branch informed the police about the robbery.



The police rushed to the spot and are investigating the matter with the help of sniffer dogs.

Following this, the police have registered a case of robbery and are on the lookout for the persons who escaped after committing the theft.

The incident has created a lot of fear and panic among the people of the area.
