Youth tied to a rope and attacked by a group over property dispute near Tirupur, video goes viral

On information, the police, who reached the spot rescued the youth and got him admitted to the hospital.



Tirupu: A youth, Anand was attacked by a group of persons near Kangayam in Tirupur district over a property dispute. A video of the attack is going viral on social media.

According to sources, when, Anand, approached his maternal uncle Esayan living in Padiyur and demanded to give their share of the property settlement money, a quarrel ensued between them.



When Anand went to Esayan's house, he allegedly attacked Anand after tying him up with the help of local youth and the group attacked him for about three hours.

On information, the police, who reached the spot rescued the youth and got him admitted to the hospital.



While alleging that the police have sided with the attackers, Anand said “that despite lodging a complaint with the police, the police registered a case against me and my younger brother Jayakumar, who was not involved in the quarrel. The assailants who attacked me were not booked”.
