South Constituency: Senthil Balaji Leads After Round 1; TVK Close Behind

Coimbatore: In the first round of vote counting currently underway at the Government College of Technology (GCT) counting centre in Coimbatore, DMK candidate Senthil Balaji has taken an early lead with 3,481 votes. TVK candidate Senthil Kumar is close behind with 3,205 votes, indicating a tight contest in the initial phase.

AIADMK’s Amman Arjunan has secured 936 votes, while NTK candidate Perarivalan has polled 372 votes. With a narrow margin between the top two candidates, the race remains competitive as counting continues at the GCT centre.
