Sleeper renewal works between Magudanchavadi and Virapandy Road railway stations in the Erode–Salem section will delay the Ernakulam–Tatanagar and Alappuzha–Dhanbad express trains on July 6, 8 and 11, Southern Railway has announced.
Coimbatore: Two express trains passing through Tamil Nadu will be regulated on July 6, 8 and 11 due to sleeper renewal works being carried out between Magudanchavadi and Virapandy Road railway stations in the Erode–Salem section, Southern Railway said.
According to the Salem Division of Southern Railway, Train No. 18190 Ernakulam–Tatanagar Express will be regulated for 50 minutes at a convenient location en route on July 6, 8 and 11.
Similarly, Train No. 13352 Alappuzha–Dhanbad Express will be regulated for 20 minutes at a convenient location en route on the same dates.
Southern Railway has advised passengers travelling on these services to take note of the temporary operational changes and plan their journeys accordingly, as the trains are likely to experience delays due to the scheduled maintenance works.
