Memo issued to remove encroachments on Puliyakulam Road, Coimbatore

It was reported that a few houses and shops had encroached on the Rajiv Gandhi road governed by Coimbatore Municipal Corporation.


Coimbatore: Following a complaint filed at the corporation regarding the encroachments causing traffic congestion at Rathinapuri, Rajiv Gandhi road, Coimbatore.

It was reported that a few houses and shops had encroached on the Rajiv Gandhi road governed by Coimbatore Municipal Corporation. Meanwhile, causing frequent traffic congestion in the zone. A complaint was filed against this at the city Corporation office.

With authoritative approval by M.Prathap I.A.S., Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner, the officials have taken a swift move to issue a memo for the removal of the encroachment within 3 days.

Following the official notice, the shops and houses in the zone are voluntarily evacuating. The officials informed that encroachment removal is vigilant across city corporation zones, and Puliyakulam was a part of those action plans.
