'Beware of job rackets that cheat youth by offering jobs in Railways, State and Central Government departments' warns DGP Sylendra Babu

Tamil Nadu DGP Sylendra Babu has issued a warning to the youth by sharing an awareness video on his Facebook page about job racketeers offering fake job offers.

Coimbatore: Warning the youth not to trust people who offer jobs in central and state government departments including Railways, DGP Sylendra Babu said fake and bogus operators may take the gullible youth for a ride and swindle money from them.

Tamil Nadu DGP Sylendra Babu has issued a warning to the youth by sharing an awareness video on his Facebook page about job racketeers offering fake job offers.

"This is a must watch video for graduates, young people who are looking for jobs and their parents. Some people take money on the pretext of getting jobs in the Railways and also give bogus appointment orders for the job” the DGP said.

“If you believe in such bogus operators, and try to join duty in a particular railway station in North India, you will be arrested for producing a fake appointment order” the DGP warned in the video.

“One such incident happened recently, but we intervened and handed over to police the bogus operator and rescued the victim. Similarly, a lot of people have been duped into taking fake appointment orders in the name of Railways” the top cop said.

“The job racketeers also promise central and state government jobs and take job seekers for a ride” he said.

“There is no system of recruiting people by getting money in any government departments, it is done through competitive exams” Sylendra Babu noted.
