Ver Organization today hosted its 21st event and its 2nd marathon. Today’s event was called Coimbatore Kiddathon was hosted to create awareness among the public about child sexual abuse. Speaking to SimpliCity on the sidelines of this event, founder of this NGO Vasanth Jerome said “The aim of hosting this event is to bring together on one platform, both the parents and children. A few of my close friends have been victims of sexual abuse. This prompted me to take up this cause. Only spreading awareness about this subject can help bring down the number of children who are victims of child abuse. Thus, this Kiddathon was hosted for the 1st time in Coimbatore involving both mother and her child.”

This Kiddathon was a huge hit as several mothers participated with place cards with message of prevention of child sexual abuse.
