Under the chairmanship of District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati, a meeting of government school teachers under the 'Naan Mudhalvan' scheme was held at Coimbatore's Nirmala Arts and Science College for Women on behalf of the School Education Department and the Pioneer Bank.
Coimbatore:The District Collector presided over a meeting of government school teachers at the Nirmala College of Arts and Science for Women in Coimbatore.
Higher Education Guidance and Education Loan for Government School Students under The Naan Mudhalvan Scheme on behalf of the School Education Department and Pioneer Bank at Nirmala College of Arts and Science for Women, Coimbatore. A meeting for Headmasters of government schools and government-aided schools on the guidelines was held under the chairmanship of District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati.

The meeting was attended by District Secondary Education Officer Pandiarajan, former Pioneer Bank Manager Vanangamudi, Nirmala College Principal G S Mary Babylono, Headmasters, and students from Government Schools and Government-Aided Schools.

Speaking on the occasion, the District Collector said that the "Naan Mudhalvan" scheme has been developed as a skill development and guidance programme to make the youth successful not only in studies but also at all levels. The main objective of the 'Naan Mudhalvan' scheme is to develop the education, thinking, language skills and multi-faceted skills of the youth.

Moreover, various kinds of schemes are being implemented in Coimbatore district and equal opportunity should be given to all in the society.
Through this scheme, the necessary guidance should be provided to the government school students What to study? Where to study? to develop their skills.
He said that the headmasters should make the best use of this training course and work together to take necessary steps for the benefit of the students under the 'Naan Mudhalvan' scheme.
