Seized vehicles auctioned for Rs. 3.97 lakh

A total of 157 vehicles seized by the police were auctioned at the Police Recruits School Ground here on Tuesday. The vehicles, including 155 two-wheelers, a three-wheeler, and a four-wheeler were auctioned for Rs. 3,97,548.

Auctioning these vehicles was part of the efforts taken by the police to clean the police station premises. The auction was conducted in the presence of Deputy Commissioner of Police R. Sivakumar (Traffic), and N. Sivaguru (Armed Reserve), and revenue officers from the North and South taluk offices.
