The court staff who came to seize goods worth Rs 50 lakh from Aavin's company at Pachapalayam in Coimbatore created a ruckus.

The 17 retired employees of Aavin Dairy in Perur Pachapalayam area of Coimbatore have been requesting their pending arrears for a long time without payment of their leave. The aggrieved employees had filed a case in the Coimbatore labour court last year in this regard.

In October last year, the judge, who heard the case, had directed the employees to pay the due amount within 90 days. However, the Aavin management was delaying the payment of the amount. In this case, the employees again appealed to the court.

Following this, on the orders of the judge, court Ameena Nagaraj, lawyers and others went to Aavin's company in person to carry out the confiscation proceedings. As a result, there was a commotion there.

They were in the process of confiscating goods worth Rs 50 lakh, including 30 computers, an Innova car and a generator, from Aavin Dairy. At that time, aavin management officials held talks with the court staff and handed over a cheque for Rs 47 lakh.

Following this, they abandoned the confiscation process and left from there. Due to this incident, there was a commotion in Aavin, Coimbatore for some time.
