There are more than 130 bus services between Coimbatore and Bangalore with an average ticket price of Rs 750 operating every day carrying more than 7500 passengers. Three flight services with a total capacity of more than six hundred passengers at an average ticket price of Rs 4000 and more than 3500 passenger vehicles travel daily between Coimbatore and Bangalore.
People from Coimbatore travelling to Hosur, Bangalore and North Karnataka is also increasing and at present only two direct trains originate from Coimbatore junction to Bangalore whereas all the six trains originating from Coimbatore to Chennai is fully utilized by passengers that shows the potential of the highly urbanized region of the State .
