Special Camps Organized for Coimbatore Residents to Pay Municipal Taxes

Coimbatore Corporation has organized special camps on January 27 and 28, 2024, to facilitate the payment of property, professional, and other municipal taxes by the public.

Coimbatore: In an initiative to ease the tax payment process for residents, the Coimbatore Corporation has announced special tax collection camps. These camps are scheduled for the 27th and 28th of January 2024, to assist in the payment of property tax, vacancy tax, professional tax, and water charges. Corporation Commissioner Ma. Sivaguru Prabhakaran informed that these camps will operate from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on these dates.

The decision to set up these camps was taken considering the convenience of the public in settling their dues for the second half of the fiscal year 2023-24. The camps will be held in various ward areas, ensuring easy access for residents across the city. Specific locations include Ward No. 56 and 57 in Ondipudur Sungam Ground, Ward No. 75 in Mariamman Koil Street, Sirunayakanpalayam, Ward No. 85 in Pothanur Konavai Kalpalayam Municipal Middle School, and several other key locations across the city.

Additionally, a special camp is scheduled for January 27, 2024, at Devanga Nagar in the Karpgam Vinayagar Temple premises in Ward No. 35. Beyond these dates, regular tax collection centers will function as usual from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, excluding government holidays, until March 31, 2024.

Commissioner Ma. Sivaguru Prabhakaran urges the public to take advantage of these special camps to timely pay their due taxes to the Coimbatore Corporation.
