Coimbatore: In a significant move to ensure the accessibility of Public Distribution System (PDS) services to the general public, Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati has declared the organization of a special grievance redressal camp. This announcement was made today, February 8th, underscoring the administration's commitment to enhancing public service delivery.

The camp, scheduled for February 10th, 2024, from 10 AM to 1 PM, is set to operate in all Taluk offices across the district. It is part of a continuous effort to hold these camps every second Saturday of the month, aimed at resolving issues and ensuring the smooth functioning of the PDS. The initiative seeks to address various grievances such as adding or removing names from ration cards, address changes, obtaining duplicate family cards, changing mobile numbers, and updating the head of the family's photograph in the system.

The District Collector has urged the public to take advantage of this special camp to submit their grievances in the form of applications. This proactive approach is intended to streamline the process and make essential PDS services more accessible to the residents of Coimbatore, ensuring that everyone benefits from the government's welfare schemes effectively.
