Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation has announced the operation of 50 extra buses, in addition to regular weekend and holiday services, from Coimbatore to destinations like Madurai, Theni, Trichy, and Salem.
Coimbatore: In response to the growing travel demand, the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) has deployed an additional 50 special buses from Coimbatore to various destinations such as Madurai, Theni, Trichy, and Salem. The initiative is aimed at accommodating the increased passenger volume during weekends and holidays.
Besides the regular services, the TNSTC has also arranged for 30 special buses from Coimbatore to Ooty. The special services were operational yesterday (May 18) and continue today from the Sai Baba Colony bus station on the Coimbatore-Mettupalayam road. Further, the area of Mettupalayam has seen the deployment of 20 additional buses to Ooty to ensure smooth travel for tourists and residents during the peak travel days.
