House Burglary in Rathinapuri, Coimbatore; Cash Stolen, Police Investigating

In Rathinapuri, Coimbatore, a house was burglarized with Rs. 24,000 stolen. The front door was found damaged upon the owner Chennammal's return. Police have initiated an investigation.


Coimbatore: A burglary occurred in Rathinapuri, Thillainagar Narayanasamy Street, when Chennammal (35) found her house broken into upon her return on May 19. After securing her home, Chennammal had visited her sister's house nearby.

Upon returning, she discovered the front door forcibly opened. Inside, it was evident that the burglars had rifled through her belongings and Rs. 24,000 cash stored in an almirah was missing. Shocked by the discovery, Chennammal reported the incident to the Rathinapuri police station.

Based on her complaint, the police registered a case and along with forensic experts, inspected the crime scene. They successfully identified fingerprints at the site and are currently reviewing nearby CCTV footage to locate the suspect involved in this burglary.
