Vande Bharat Express from Ernakulam to Bengaluru via Coimbatore Gets Additional Stop

Southern Railway announces new stop at Krishnarajapuram for Vande Bharat Express running from Ernakulam to Bengaluru via Coimbatore, enhancing passenger convenience on this popular route.


Coimbatore: The Southern Railway administration has recently announced an additional stop for the Vande Bharat Express running from Ernakulam to Bengaluru via Coimbatore. This decision comes as part of efforts to improve passenger convenience on this popular route.

The weekly Vande Bharat special trains operate between Ernakulam and Bengaluru Cantonment. These trains currently halt at Thrissur, Palakkad, Podanur, Tiruppur, Erode, and Salem. Now, for the benefit of passengers, an additional stop has been introduced at Krishnarajapuram.

According to the new schedule, Train No. 06001 Ernakulam - Bengaluru Cantonment Vande Bharat Special will arrive at Krishnarajapuram at 9:05 PM and depart at 9:07 PM.

In the return direction, Train No. 06002 Bengaluru Cantonment - Ernakulam Vande Bharat Special will arrive at Krishnarajapuram at 5:40 AM and depart at 5:42 AM.

This additional stop is expected to benefit a significant number of passengers, particularly those traveling to and from the Krishnarajapuram area of Bengaluru. The Southern Railway's decision reflects its commitment to enhancing the travel experience and accessibility of the Vande Bharat Express service in the region.
