On September 6, the traffic police conducted a surprise check in the Avinashi Road and Race Course areas, following complaints about youth speeding on two-wheelers.

The operation was carried out under strict orders to monitor and control traffic violations. During the check, 17 young riders were caught speeding on their two-wheelers. The police have registered cases against these individuals and are conducting further investigations.

Speaking about the operation, a traffic police official stated, "During the surprise check conducted on September 6 at Race Course and Avinashi Road, we have registered cases against 17 youth for speeding on two-wheelers. Additionally, we have seized 5 two-wheelers as part of our enforcement action."
