The DMK headquarters annually presents party awards to outstanding office bearers based on recommendations from district secretaries. Accordingly, Arivarasu has been chosen for the award under the direct supervision of the DMK leader, in recognition of his exceptional work as the town party secretary. The award is presented on behalf of the Muthamizh Arignar Kalaignar Foundation.
