Indradhanush vaccination drive

Starting Thursday, the Coimbatore Corporation will launch the fourth round of the Indradhanush vaccination drive.

According to sources, health wing workers will reach out to infants in the zero to two years of age category to administer various vaccines. This time, they would only target those children who had been excluded in the previous rounds. The corporation had held the first round of immunisation in April, the second round in October and the third round in January this year.

There are around 30,000 children in the zero to two years of age category in the 60 wards in the old corporation areas.
