Woman held for stealing gold: A 21-year-old woman was arrested for stealing 4.5 sovereigns of gold ornaments from a house at Kumaran Nagar in Pollachi.
The arrested was identified as R Ayisha. Police said she was living with her family in a rented house belonging to S Abdullah, 48, of Kumaran Nagar at Pollachi. Ayisha nicked the gold when Abdullah's wife was taking a bath.
