Sulur air base inspected

Air Marshal Pankaj Aneja Vishisht and president of Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional), Asha Aneja, visited the five Base Repair Depot on Tuesday and will be there till Thursday, May 19. They arrived at Air Force Station Sulur on Tuesday, where they were received by air commodore GSPN Chowdaryand air force wives welfare association (AFWWA (L) T Lalitha. During the visit the air marshal inspected the various sections of the depot and took stock of all the activities being undertaken by depot.

Changes in train schedule: Due to track doubling works between Tamaraipadi and Dindigul stations in Madurai Division, the following changes are made in the operations of trains that pass through Salem divisions on May 27. The Tirunelveli-Erode-Tirunelveli passenger trains will be partially cancelled between Madurai and Erode. The Nagercoil-Mumbai CST Exp to be delayed at Madurai for 45 minutes from 12.05 pm to 12.50 pm. The Coimbatore Nagercoil Passenger to be delayed at Eriyodu for 34mts from 12.56 pm to 1.30 pm.

Special trains to clear rush: To clear the extra rush during summer, the following special trains will be run between Kochuveli and Krishnarajpuram, via Salem, Erode, Tirupur and Coimbatore. The Kochuveli-Krishnarajapuram suvidha special train will be operated till June 26. It will have 21 coaches- 1 AC 2 Tier, 3 AC 3 Tier, 12 Non A/C Sleeper, 3 General Second Class & 2 Luggage-cum-Brake Vans.
