Illayaraja requests media and public not to turn a small Scuffle into a sensational news

The photos of renowned music composer Ilayaraja involving in a minor scuffle in the security check at Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport went viral over the social networks and in news. Ilayaraja had visited few temples with his family in Mangaluru and was carrying few broken pieces of coconut as Prasad. The airport scanner detected it and the security personnel was doing their duties of checking the baggage.

The things took an ugly turn when Illayaraja's son Karthick Raja took photos of the Security official making the security officers angry and a TV Journalist telling the security about how famous Ilayaraja is and is the recipient of many national awards.

Later in a video released by the composer, he stated that media need not make a hill out of mole as the security personnel was doing the duties assigned to them. He even requested his fans and public that they need not waste their valuable energy on petty issues like this as the security officials are working hard to keep the country safe.
