Application given for Law courses from Monday in the City.

Government law college in the city has started distributing the application for the law courses. The application is being given for three years LL.B. course and five-year B.A. LL.B. The process was started by Syndicate Member of the Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University V. Shanmuga Sundar.

The cost of the application is Rs.250/- for SC and ST candidates and Rs. 500/- for other community candidates.SC & ST candidates are required to bring attested copy of community certificate to avail the form. The last date of issuance of application form is June 30 for B.A. LL.B. and until July 15 for LL.B. The form will be available on all government working days from 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM.

Counselling will be done after the distribution of application form. A Number of seats for which counselling will be done are 1,262 seats in the seven Government Law Colleges in the State for LL.B. course and 1,062 seats in B.A. LL.B. course. The applicants will get the rank list on July 10 for B.A. LL.B. programme with counselling in the third week of that month. With regard to LL.B, the rank list will be given by July last or start of August with counselling in the third week of the respective month.
