Annual Inspection at government schools


The District Elementary Education Officer and his team are all set for the annual Inspection of government schools around the district say Chief Education Officer N Arul Murugan.  

The squad will visit all government schools evaluating the building condition and stability, checking for seepages and analyse if any repair work needs to be undertaken. At the school level, a committee comprising of Vice Principal and staff members have been formed who will work in liaison with the government officers in identifying problems at their respective schools. 

After inspection, the committee will compile a final report and submit it to the District Collector in 10 days time, stating the necessary repair works, alterations to be undertaken or if the building needs to be redone newly. 

Also, new ramps will be constructed in all schools to aide physically challenged children.
