TNAU's Botanical Garden spread over 55 acres has an an iconic place in Coimbatore's map. It's the largest in the region next to government botanical garden, Ooty. The garden houses a large variety of fauna & flora and also has trees that are over 100 years old. People from suburbs of the city visit the garden regularly, as the place is well connected by corporation buses. The garden is ideal for children as they can run  around safely and also has a separate play park.

The government has allotted Rs. 5 Lakhs for renovating the garden, especially children's play area by adding new structures like merry-go-round, slides, butterfly swings and much more.

Not just for the children, the exciting news is that new walk ways will be laid in the garden for joggers, walkers and fitness enthusiasts. Seasonal flowers of different colours will be planted and maintained for each season giving the garden a magical and unique look every season. New rest rooms and dustbins are also getting added to the renovation package.

The renovation work will be over by 3 months time and will be formally inaugurated by K. Ramasamy, Vice-Chancellor TNAU along with Municipal Corporation.
