The Tamil Nadu BJP president Tamilisai Soundararajan in a meeting at Coimbatore reported to the media about the pressing issues in the State.
The BJP party headed by their State President Tamilisai Soundararajan had organised a protest at Konivaaikaalpalayam demanding to change the Corporation Waste Dumpyard from Vellalore. The waste dumpyard has to be shifted on priority basis from Vellalore, as the residential areas has been severely infested with disease causing flies and mosquitoes, which might adversely affect the health conditions of the residents, especially children's.

She strongly condemned the efforts of the Andhra Pradesh government to increase the height of the Paalar check dam from 5 feet to 12 feet. The approach towards the issue by the Chief Minister J. Jayalalitha has to be more aggressive rather than confronting through writing letters to the Andhra Govt, she added.
She evoked the Swathi Murder case and applauded the police for their efforts and urged that the Police Department should deal all the cases earnestly.
It is absurd to blame the BJP government for lack of CCTV surveillance at Railway Stations, rather it was due to the inefficient governing of the previous Congress government, she outraged.
