Lorry driver arrested for harassing a women at Sulur

A few hours ago, a stalking incident was reported at Paapampatti Privu, Sulur. 

A woman resident of the Sulur area along with her child was on her way to a nearby local shop to recharge her mobile phone. An unknown stranger followed her all the way and tried to harass her. The lady yelled for help and secured herself inside a shop nearby. The locals and the public manhandled the culprit and handed over him to the Sulur police station. 

On investigation, the accused was identified as Periyasamy a lorry driver from Namkkal, the police took him to custody.
