My Job will be to make quality Education Accessible to all: MN Pandey

New Delhi: Minister of State for Education Mahendra Nath Pandey, who today took charge, said his priority was to make quality education accessible to all the citizens of the country.

Interacting with media persons, Mr. Pandey, who is a Lok Sabha MP from Chandauli in Uttar Pradesh, said that the government has been working to raise the standard of education, a direction in which it will continue to work.

Educated at the Banaras Hindu University, Mr. Pandey has a doctorate in Hindi Language and a Masters degree in journalism as well.

In the 16th Lok Sabha, he had been a member of Standing Committee on Rural Development and Consultative Committee for Ministry of Steel and Mines. He was also a member of Business Advisory Committee and Parliament Committee on Official Language, a statement said.
