City's fame Formula 1 Racer Narain Karthikeyan inaugurated a modern unisex salon and gym "LUXX SPA AND SALON" at Race Course in the presence of film star V.Sethu Raman.
The Director of Luxx salon & Spa and Gym 45, Mr. J.Sivaprakash addressed the press and briefed on his new venture. 'This is just not an ordinary Unisex Salon and Gym, the spa will cater to the needs of the transgender community people too', he proclaimed.
This initiative aims to create awareness regarding the third gender among the people and promote the diversity of identities in society. The gym and the spa will have special luxury rooms for transgenders to make them feel at ease.
A well-appointed expertise team comprising of the in-house dietitian, physiotherapist, and certified trainers will provide a top-notch experience to the customers, he added.
Narain Karthikeyan on his press meet applauded Sivaprakash for his Spa initiative for transgenders. He announced that he would be participating in Super Formula 2016 race held in Japan on October 7-9th.
