8 boys held for setting three puppies ablaze

Eight minors, who were seen in a video clip burning to death three puppies at Dayar Kaman graveyard in Musheerabad, were sent to the State Home in Saidabad on Thursday.

The Musheerabad police, who registered a criminal case following a complaint lodged by animal activists, identified the eight minors in the case. They presented them before the Juvenile Justice court at MJ Market. As per the court direction, the minors were sent to the State Home till August 2.

The dogs were subjected to cruelty on Saturday which came to light on Tuesday when a video of the incident went viral on social media.

A group of boys caught the three puppies and tied them together. They then dragged the animals some distance and threw them into a fire.
