The 56th National State Level Athletic meet was flagged off today at Nehru stadium by KP Shanmuga Rajeswaran IPS, IG-Armed forces, Trichy.
Totally 310 participants from Tamil Nadu Rapid Action Force, Tamil Nadu Armed Forces, Chennai Metro City, North Region, Central Region, South and West Region will participate in this three-day sports meet.
In the 400 meters running race, Geetha of Chennai Metro stood first.
The winners from this meet will qualify for the National Level Athletics meet to be held in Hyderabad on September 3rd, 2016.
The prize distribution will be held on July 27th, the last day of the event.
