Coimbatore based trust MC3 launches 'Namma Palli' project to pay tribute to Dr. Abdul Kalam


Today, 27th July marks the first death anniversary of our beloved former president Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam.



As a mark of tribute and respect to Dr. Abdul Kalam, the City-based trust MC3 launched an initiative called 'Namma Palli' at Corporation Girls School, Ramnagar. An initiative to uplift the quality of education for the students of government schools in and around Coimbatore.



The initiative was launched by Vijay Karthikeyan, Corporation Commissioner. 

The Corporation Commissioner addressed the gathering and briefed the students on the Smart City Project and also reminded them of their social responsibilities apart from just learning. 



A tree was also planted in the school premise to mark Kalam's first death anniversary.
