An elderly couple came to the District Collectorate to file a petition against Isha Yoga, Coimbatore for captivating their daughters against their will.
Kamaraj, a retired professor from TNAU has two daughters Geetha, an M.Tech graduate from London and Latha, a B.Tech graduate from Anna University.
Latha, sometime back visited Isha Yoga at Vellingiri and was so enticed by the place that she started frequently visiting it. She also insisted her sister Geetha to accompany her. Later both of them got lured by that place and decided to render their service as volunteers.
The parents initially did not feel odd about their daughters visiting Isha Yoga. But soon they discovered that their daughters were being brainwashed by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev and they were even administrated with steroids.
They further disclosed that on special occassions like full moon day, Ammavasai (no moon day) & on Mahashivaratri days, steroids were administered to their daughters making them walk kilometers together without food.
Those steroids made their daughters unconsciousness and disconnected them from the family. The Isha Yoga people even tonsured their hair and got an agreement signed from Geetha and Latha that they will render services to Isha Yoga life long.
The parents further claimed that when their daughters realized that they were being mesmerised through artificial means, they approached Sadhguru to get back to their parents. But were threatened of dire consequences, if they leave and warned that they would harm their parents too.
They revealed that the kids studying in the Schools run by Isha Yoga were administered with nitrous oxide, so that they keep laughing and joyous when they see their parents.
The husband and wife duo have registered several complaints to the police against this organization but no action has been initiated till date.
Hence, they have requested the District Collector to reunite them with their daughters and release them from the spell of Isha Yoga.
