'Know Your Army Expo', an expo by the Indian Army along with Confederation of Indian Industry - Coimbatore (CII) and Young Indians (Yi) was inaugurated today by Deputy Chief of Army, Lt. General Subrata Saha at the grounds of PSG Institute of Management.
A nation-wide expo has been planned by the Indian Army to commemorate the Independence day. The expo aims at motivating the youth in nation building by sharing the current technologies and equipments used by the Indian Army.
The two-day expo showcases some spellbinding gadgets & equipments used by the Indian Army. Rocket Launchers, Motor guns, Light & medium machine guns, Rifles, 105 light field guns were the weapons displayed at the expo.
This one-of-a-kind exhibition has been much-awaited by the students as it features real-time machineries used by the Indian Army. The army officials were seen apprising the students on the weaponry displayed and the queries raised by them.
