'Metro Fest' lures the shoppers of the City


'Metro Fest' a two-day shopping expo was kickstarted today at the Ladies Club, R.S.Puram. 



The exhibition cum sale is being organized by Anandi and Yamini, former participants of the event and now turned as 'Organisers' of the Metro Fest.

'The expo features some unique shopping products and has been receiving tremendous response from the people, right from the first day. 'We have planned it on a weekend, so that people could have a hassle-free shopping' said Anandhi.



Starting from handicrafts, mouth-watering sweets, savouries, Andhra Pickles, Natural Pulses, Organic Oils, Ladies & Kids wear, accessories, Handicrafts and much more are on the display. There's more to garner the attention of the women like Mehendi stalls, Tattoo's, Nail art etc.,



Sapna Koshy, Proprietor of Golden Wraps stated that 'It's the first time am displaying my customised gifts at the Metro fest and am very excited to see the over-whelming response by the people'.



'We have showcased a wide range of unadulterated Pulses, Cereals all procured directly from the farmers' said co-ordinator of Nalam Natural Products.

Neetha, a youngster at the fest stated that 'products that are displayed here are very unique and you couldn't find it in regular stores, it's kind of a personalised shopping experience'

The two-day fair starts from today at 10 am to 9 pm.
