The Co-Operative Society Workers Association today sent a 19-point demand petition to the TN Chief Minister Dr.J.Jayalalitha.

'he contractual staff working for more than 30 yrs should be made as permanent staff and paid as per seniority, was the basic plea put-forth by the Union.

While addressing the media, Sakthivel, State Head ( Co-Operative Society Workers Association ) reported that the public have been persistently raising questions on the functionality of the weighing scales supplied by the TN Govt at all Co-operative stores.
