A retired Headmaster of Govt School Mr.V.Srinivasan sustained injuries after a rusted lamp post fell on him, near his residence at Neelikonamplayam.
The nearby residents, alerted by the sound rushed to the spot and found Srinivasan in an unconscious state. He was rushed immediately to a nearby private hospital and had two stitches for his open wound.
The residents escalated the issue to the officials incharge, who inspected the spot and assured to attend to such rusted lamp posts, on priority.
