'Golu' dolls exhibition begins at Poompuhar


With Navarathiri festival closing near, the Poompuhar is all set for the exhibition and sale of 'Golu' dolls to be displayed by people at their houses. 



Poompuhar is the most sough place in the city for sourcing Golu dolls. Every year, the usual customers throng the place to check for newly designed theme dolls and this year is no different the Golu dolls depicting the novel Ramayana is been introduced. Also on display are Marapachi toys, Ashtalakshmi, Dasavatharam, Ramar Set, clay made fruits, vegetables, band set, women dancing, animal sets, gift items and many more artistic products have been enlisted this year.





Even the people who do not display 'Golu', exhibit interest in buying dolls for their children and for gifting it to people who practice Golu. 



The exhibition will be open till 13th October, 2016.
