The 25th anniversary celebrations of 'Shardhkala Navarathri Mahothsavam' of Sri Annapoorneshwari temple at RS Puram was jointly flagged off today by the District collector, TN Hariharan and City Mayor, P Rajkumar, who were the chief guests for the evening.
Today, 11th October was the concluding day of the grand celebrations. Special homams, customary rituals and dances depicting the cultures of three states Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka were part of the last day of the Navarathri Celebrations, which garnered the attention of the devotees and the public.
The procession commenced from the temple and travelled through Periyaswamy Road, Venkataraman Road, Thadagam Road and passing through Thiruvenkataswamy Road the devotees also accompanied the procession through the route. The colorful and soulful performance of the artists was undoubtedly stunning.
