Effigy of H. Raja burnt

Members of the All India Youth Federation (AIYF) today burned the effigy of BJP National Secretary, H. Raja, near Sulur, to condemn his alleged remarks against CPI leader D. Raja over the JNU issue.

According to the police, the AIYF activists came with H. Raja's effigy and burned it near Pappampatti Junction. They also raised slogans against him. The activists dispersed before the police arrived.

During a press meet, when questioned about the fact that the CPI leader D. Raja’s daughter was seen raising anti-India slogans, H. Raja had replied that had it been his daughter, he would have shot her dead.
