Grievance redressal meetings and Government schemes will resume, Coimbatore collector says

The local body elections that were scheduled to take place on the 17th and 19th of this month have been called off by the Chennai High Court. Owing to this regulations that were declared in view of the local body elections has been subsequently withdrawn. Going ahead the District collector will conduct its grievance redressal meetings on all Mondays.

In a statement issued today by the collector, he conveyed that this Monday, the redressal meeting will be held as per schedule on 17.10.2016. The same statement also stated that all government schemes will continue to be enforced.
