Accident victim succumbs to injuries at GH

Baskaran a resident of Kattabettu near Kothagiri who was battling for life at the Coimbatore General Hospital died today at the hospital. 

A couple of days ago, Baskaran was on the way to his home through the usual route. Unexpectedly a deer crossed the road to get to the other side of the road. In a bid not to cause any harm to this animal, motorist Baskaran applied brakes and stopped his vehicle in a rush. He subsequently lost control of his motorbike and was thrown off his vehicle.  Baskaran sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to the Coimbatore General Hospital, where he was undergoing treatment. Unfortunately, he passed away this evening, not responding to the treatment.
