An environment protrait exhibition was hosted today at the Arthouz, Jenney's Avinashi Road, featuring some splendid photos captured by Sam Kumar, a Chennai based travel photographer, originally a fashion and a portrait photographer who developed keen interest in travel and landscape photography.
Mrs.Jaya Mahesh, distinguished body sculpting therapist and tile winner of Mrs.India Earth 2016 and Thiru.R.Raghupathy, Asst Commissioner Income tax of Coimbatore were the chief guest for the evening,
Through his display of environmental portraits photographer Sam is also urging the human folks to protect our environment.. In display are 25 beatuiful portraits of a model posing in nature filled locations, forests and historical monument places emphasising the unsaid bond between humans and nature itself.
The images that are on display have been captured on his lenses in multiple locations from 2014 to 2016.Japanese dancer Mio Ikeda is the model used for all the photographs. The exhibition has plans of travelling to Chennai, Bangalore, Delhi in the forth coming seasons and to Japan anad Canada, as well.
