Pakistan violates ceasefire again, heavy shelling in Jammu's Nowshera area

Pakistan continues to provoke India by targeting various places across the LoC as well as the international border. Heavy shelling by Pakistan troops in Jammu and Kashmir's Nowshera since 05:00 am was reported.

The Army said Pakistan has violated ceasefire along LoC in Sundarbani and Pallanwala sectors in Rajouri and Jammu districts. It said, "It continued till 0500 AM this morning intermittently in the area of approximately 24 BSF posts. BSF gave a strong & befitting reply. Small arms, automatics, 82 mm mortars and 120 mm mortars being responded appropriately and befittingly, no casualties to own troops."

Last night there was massive shelling and firing by the Pakistani Army at Kathua, Heeranagar, Samba, Arnia, RS Pura and Akhnoor on International border. On the LoC, the Pakistani forces targeted Tangdhar and Poonch sector.

The BSF said one girl injured in overnight ceasefire violation in Kathua and Jammu districts.

Pakistan has reportedly suffered heavy damages across Kathua sector in Jammu after the BSF retaliated with heavy shelling and firing.
