Two more soldiers killed on LoC

Pakistan army killed two more Indian soldiers when they resorted to firing and shelling at two different places along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir. In the last 24 hours, Indian army lost three soldiers in Pakistan firing and shelling on the LoC. On Tuesday, a soldier was killed in Naushera sector of LoC in Rajouri. The death toll of soldiers in Pakistani firing and shelling on LoC and International Border has now touched 13 since the Indian army carried out surgical strikes on the terror launch pads in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) on September 29.

Around 12 civilians have also been killed and around 50 others injured in Pakistani firing and shelling on the civilian areas since surgical strikes. Lieutenant Colonel Manish Mehta, defence spokesman at Jammu, said Pakistan army initiated indiscriminate and unprovoked firing on Indian army posts along the LoC in Naushera sector on November 8. "In the ensuing unprovoked shelling, Non Commissioned Officer Naik Prem Singh was martyred. Naik Harindra Kumar Yadav sustained grievous injuries and was immediately rushed to the hospital. However, the brave heart succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The army has responded appropriately to the unprovoked firing by the Pakistan army", he said.

Hailing from village Shahar, Tehsil Bayatu, district Barmer in Rajasthan, Naik Prem Singh, 26, is survived by his wife Raina. Hailing from Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh, Naik Harindra Kumar Yadav 30 , is survived by his wife Gyanti and three young children. Pakistan army opened another front in Machil sector of LoC on Wednesday when they sniped at Indian army soldier killing him on the spot. "One soldier martyred in Pakistan sniping at Machhal Sector", tweeted Northern Command of Indian army.

Indian army launched a massive fire assault to target the Pakistani army posts. "In retaliation fire assault with heavy weapons being directed on many Pakistan posts", said the Northern Command. Figures reveal since surgical strikes, Pakistan has carried out more than 105 ceasefire violations along the LoC and International Border.

Indian troops have foiled 61 Pakistan abetted infiltration bids both on LoC and IB since September 29. Official figures reveal around 405 incidents of cross border firing have taken place along the Indo-Pak border in Jammu and Kashmir in 2015 killing 16 civilians.
