The Chief Justice of Madras High on Monday appointed R. Sakthivel, Administrative General and Official Trustee of Tamil Nadu, as the Registrar-General of the High Court.
Since the present Registrar General, N. Sathish Kumar, has been elevated as the judge of the High Court, Mr. Sakthivel, who is in the cadre of District Judge, has been appointed to the post.
