The OPPO Chennai Times Fresh Face 2016 finals at Phoenix Mall in Chennai

The 14 finalists of OPPO Chennai Times Fresh Face 2016 rocked the ramp, thanks to choreographer/stylist Karun Raman, who helped the youngsters take the stage with confidence. The girls looked ravishing in their Indo-western outfits, which were sponsored by Anita Designer Boutique, and the boys, too, looked dapper in crisp suits, which were sourced from Gatsby Collection. Not to miss their makeup and hairdo, which was professionally done by Bounce Salon and Spa. After the participants introduced themselves to the judges and audience, they took over the stage to showcase their talent.

Rituraj Chopra’s winning moment came when he took the ramp with confidence and strummed some beautiful tunes. He says, “It is like a dream come true. I am really excited for the finale.” Samyuktha V, who impressed the judges and audience with her spectacular ballet moves, danced to a mix of English and Tamil songs. She says, “When I saw all of them perform, I thought each stood a chance in winning the title. But when they announced my name, it was a pleasant surprise.” Other notable performances included power-packed dance moves by Mahalakshmi R and Naman Bhatia. Abhishekh Dubey entertained the crowd with his dance story. Besides walking the ramp, the participants also had a selfie walk round where they had to take selfies of themselves and a picture of them with the crowd. The winners, who will now head to the national finale of the Fresh Face in Mumbai, also got an OPPO Selfie Expert F1s camera phone each from Anudeep Agarwal - Public Relations Officer, OPPO Tamil Nadu.
